PKP HotPatch was born from a genuine need to make asphalt repairs better, any season, more
flexibly and with the right mix. It did not come from theory. It is the result of continuous
development over several generations, tested in real work-site conditions.

PKP Infra Oy is a Finnish infrastructure construction and asphalt repair company with long, hands-on experience of the real conditions of road management, maintenance and asphalt repair, and nearly 20 years of developing equipment to do this work better.
How the PKP HotPatch family began
In our own contracting work, we kept running into the same problem. Asphalt repairs had to be done to a high standard, but hot mix was not always available at the right time, at a reasonable cost or within a reasonable distance. That need started a development journey that has now reached its third generation.
